Oil Tank Removal
Concord specializes in the removal of residential and commercial underground storage tanks. Concord has a variety of machines ranging from mini excavators & backhoes to larger equipment for bigger jobs. Concord will obtain the necessary permits and utility mark-outs prior to beginning excavation. Concord will expose the tank, pump out all remaining fuel/sludge from the tank, and clean the interior of the tank. The tank will then be carefully removed from the ground and inspected. If there is a release Concord will then collect a sample to see if remediation is necessary. If contamination is present, Concord can remove all impacted soil. Following removal, Concord will restore the area to its original condition. If requested, Concord can install a new aboveground storage tank.

Soil Remediation
Concord personnel are experienced in various types of soil remediation including excavation, chemical oxidation, and in situ treatment. Concord can install structural support beneath a building or house when extensive soil excavation is required.

Groundwater Treatment
Concord personnel are experienced in various types of groundwater remediation including pump and treat, air sparging, vapor extraction systems, and bioremediation.

Subsurface Soil & Groundwater Investigations
The purpose of a subsurface investigation is to identify a source of contamination or to delineate the lateral and vertical extent of impacts to underlying soil and groundwater, prior to selecting a cleanup strategy.

Soil investigation techniques may involve surface sampling, trenching, hand auger borings, hollow-stem orother drilled borings, and direct-push probes. Groundwater may be collected from temporary borings or by installation of monitoring wells.
